I always imagined what would it be like to go on an adventure myself, and if that were to happen, what if some of my classmates joined me? Would they see me any differently? Would I rise to the occasion and rescue my school crush when her boyfriend couldn’t?

My interest was always targeted at how an adventure would influence my life and that of my friends, and the relationships between us. This is what the Lost Kids is all about.

Now that the Harry Potter series is coming to an end and the show The O.C. left a void in television, the teen and young adult audiences could use a new all-ages series that’s smart, funny and edgy, but also peppered with teen romance and real insights into what matters, growing up and moving on.

I’m confident The Lost Kids can be that book and fill that void.
