Tommy Elliot has always spent more time inside his Notebook than with other kids at his high school. Instead of math formulas and English poems though, his Notebook is filled with drawings of a fantasy world and an exhilarating adventure where Princesses need rescuing, Airships fill the sky, thieves are charming and magic is common place.

But reality hits when JJ, the girl next door and best friend, loses her parents and moves in with Tommy. Suddenly he feels overprotective of her, to the point where he decides to run away with JJ to prevent his parents of sending her into foster care.

Now on the run and figuring out the next step, Tommy and JJ are joined by an oddball collection of four other kids. As they squabble amongst them, the Notebook in JJ’s hands shoots rays of light everywhere…

As such, the tale begins…

The six teenagers suddenly find themselves lost in a world that seems to have jumped out of the page of a fantasy book. Indeed it has. Tommy comes to realize the familiarity between the sketches in his Notebook and the latest and upcoming events.

Using the elusive drawings inside the Notebook to guide them, the Lost Kids embark on a journey to find a door home.
A journey in the company of pirates, a rogue princess, a magician boy and his gigantic robot, a bounty hunter with a soft spot and a smooth treasure hunter.

Still, finding the way back won’t be as easy as just following clues in a Notebook, as it sends them spiraling into the quest of a lifetime after a mythological lost city. It is a quest so many have pursued and found nothing but death…
