After deciding he wanted to go to film school and pursue a career in film making, his protective mother sent Felipe to a shrink for a few sessions, in her words “only to make sure if that was the right career choice to match his personality”.

As fate would have it, the shrink backed his decision and Felipe Cagno went on to spend the next seven years as a film school nerd, receiving his B.A. in Communications with an emphasis in Film Theory from FAAP University in his home country Brazil. He then continued his education pursuing an M.F.A. in Film Production from Chapman University in sunny California.

For the past two years Felipe has been working in development for production companies like Misher Films, Weed Road Pictures, Arad Productions and Ozla Pictures, always relying on his co-workers for guidance and notes to improve his baby project The Lost Kids.

Acquiring a passion for comic related art when he was a kid watching cartoons like Super Friends, Thundercats, and He-Man in the early 80’s, Billy Fowler has been drawing and painting comic characters ever since. 

A native of Durham, North Carolina, he is an artist with a longstanding ardor for comics and comic art illustration.  He went onto earn his Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and printmaking in December 2005 and now dedicates his time to creating drawings, paintings, and recently turning his sites to digital art.

The Lost Kids represents Billy's first collaborative work in the world of comics.
